Sorry guys I can't find this topic; how do I setup a loading screen that is generic for all my cores? I want to make my own with my arcade machine name/logo.

@greenhawk84 This is what the official documentation says:

A more general launching image (not related to a specific system) can be named as /opt/retropie/configs/all/launching.jpg.

        Edit: .png is also valid.

@meleu it works easy, but I no longer have options while a game loads right?

@greenhawk84 you still have a short moment to get to the options screen if you spam the right button. The image just covers the notification screen but not the option menu itself.

@greenhawk84 This is what the official documentation says:

Once these images are installed, the timing to activate the runcommand menu differs, in that pressing a button will not register successfully until just after the image has disappeared.
