I posted a few days about my BIOS not being detected. I took the plunge and wiped my card to start again.
Started picking up my BIOS and all was good...until I ran the updater and now back to square 1.
Is there a particular package that might be causing this?

Standard 1001 BIOS for PSX although I have tried others and latest pi3.
Also stops me from saving games after I run the updates but doesn't appear to be a permissions issue.

For anyone who may come across this same problem, to solve it I had to set everything up how I needed it including BIOS roms configurations, and only once I was happy did I run all of the updates and all appears to be working normally again now
