      hi,

Discovering this great distribution while preparing a pi for Christmas ... originally wanted to buy nes mini!

Munt is a Roland MT-32 sound emulator
      http://munt.sourceforge.net/

Normally this is run as a separate software and dosbox would see it as a physical midi device.
Has anyone tried to get it worked in retropie environment?

I understood that it has been embedded in scuvmmVM, is it enable in the one complied for retropie or disabled?

Thanks and once again great project!

          Wow! I just watched

, and the sound quality clearly was light-years ahead of all other types of sound at that time.
I've done some digging, and apparently others have tried mt-32 emulation on the RPI, with some success. Now it's up to us to try and tie it in with dosbox and see if the PI3 is powerfull enough to do both at the same time!

If tetris has thought me anything, it's that errors pile up and that accomplishments dissappear.

The post [Tutorial] Installing Munt (MT-32 emulation) on RPi 3 might be interesting regarding this topic.
