      I am interested in building my own bartop arcade and would like to try and design my own artwork using the free photoshop program. Does anyone have or know where I could get blank templates of the cabinet in a psd file or something so I can mess around with the design? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

        @bassman6805 are you building the cabinet yourself or are you purchasing a kit? If you are building it yourself, you need to create your own template, or find a template online for the exact style cabinet you want to make. If you are purchasing a kit, you need to contact the kit manufacturer.

          I haven't really decided yet. It doesn't have to be exact. I'm just really looking for something to play around with to try and do the artwork. I'd kind of like to get an idea of what I would like it to look like before I decide on what cabinet I want to build or order. It would mainly be for fun to just play around with the artwork designs.

            @bassman6805 design your cabinet side or top marquee or whatever in a cad environment (AutoCAD et similar) in a 1:1 scale.
            Give exact shape, curves and so on.
            Then import project (printed in PDF or dxf) in a graphical environment like Photoshop or similar.
            Keep your original drawing on a separate layer for reference.
            Then have fun designing.

                @lipebello great work you've done!
                is there any detailed version apart from CNC cut files? i mean details about holes, joints and so on?
                thanks

                      You guys that can create these nice images are really talented. I am a noob when it comes to this stuff and I have no experience with photoshop or a copy of it so I am going to rely on free software. I want to try and incorporate all of the games I enjoyed as kid into my layout. I have managed to download a lot of pictures and stuff for the ones I want to use. Problem now is figuring out how to lay them out and how to grab just the areas I want. I am going to try the free program GIMP and see how that goes.

                          I know it's ugly but I sort of wanted to incorporate the games and stuff I liked as a kid.
