    Okay, here they are:

    https://easyupload.io/gy7no9

    For most of them you'll want to set aspect_ratio_index = "21" and input_overlay_opacity = "0.350000" and input_overlay_scale = 1.060000 or thereabouts in your CFG file.

    @jimmyfromthebay

    Due to this thread I found that there was a mistake in my script and I fixed it.
    So now it can create lr-mess overlays for gnw from the mame artwork.
    2022-03-02-183543_800x600_scrot_resized.png
    I think it's not what you are looking for, though.
    It is still an overlay and transparency is always used and not perfect.

    I have tried the combination lr-mess with mame artwork but never had any result,
    because then the game just won't load.

    Perhaps you both can find a way.
    It would really be nice if it could work like you want to.

    @sleve_mcdichael Thank you. It makes so much sense. I tried purging the esgamelist cache and then re-generated the artwork with Skyscraper. Worked like a charm. I took some inspiration from your settings and applied them myself too.

    Finally, a big thank you for taking the time to explain the differences between marquee and wheel. I went close to bananas trying to understand the definitions.

    @chicuelo Thank you! Your Dark the is brilliant by the way, thanks so much for making it available for us all! I made one tiny change - swapped the Amiga character art for one I made by editing the box art for Putty (I used to love that game!):

    Thanks again, and I look forward to seeing whatever you might do next! 😊

    @mitu
    Yes all over covers are great it's very unusual.

    It doesn't matter its only just the one cover it was 2 previously the other one seemed to get fixed by deleting the entry in gamelist and making it again but same thing not working with this one.

    It shows correct in a different gamelist view which is strange.
    Thanks
    Sim
    PS similar behaviour happens when I goto add a game to favourites I see the artwork squashed but it goes back to normal straight after

    Besides posting them here, I guess for bezels you can try creating a repository similar to @UDb23's one and submit it to @meleu's rpie-art.sh script so it can be installed by users (see https://github.com/meleu/rpie-art).
    For boxart, maybe adding them to a scraping site directly (i.e. ScreenScraper.fr or MobyGames) in addition to posting them here.

    If you want to use forum, create a topic for your artwork (or 2 for each type of artworks) and update them periodically in case you add new stuff.
