QuickNES overscan problem
-
Hi.
I've recently tried playing some games using quickNES, since it has the best performance on my old Pi B. While everything is fine on Nestopia and FCEUmm, quickNES is displaying some mess instead of actual game screen on overscan borders, and since I'm a speedrunner I need those borders to be displayed correctly. I'd really like to use this emulator for speedrunning, since it does not have any desync/lag and works well in threaded mode. The overscan issue happens regardless of the VSync/Threaded setting or video driver choice. I'm using dispmanx as the display driver, render mode 320x224, NTSC 4:3 mode on a CRT TV.Here's the video of what is happening to the emulator:
Pi model: B
Power supply: powered from PC USB
System: RetroPie 4.2 built from pre-made SD image
Controller: Logitech F310
Devices connected: only the controller
File: /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/nes/ (happens for all NES roms)
Emulator: QuickNES -
