@livefastcyyoung they are Zipped, but the zipped files worked in the past. Plus I have tried just putting a Unzipped file in the Rom Folder /Genesis and it says [The operation can’t be completed because an item with the name “6-Pak (USA).gen” already exists.]

@ehnam13 What says the file exists? If there are no ROMs in your folder the system should not even appear. Check in your Genesis folder, it is symlinked to Megadrive.
Delete the gamelist.xml for the Megadrive.
Are you using some sort of RetroPie file manager?

@ehnam13 it's not in the config file. It's either in the Megadrive fokder or in /home/pi/.emulationstation/gamelists Apologies again but you are not explaining yourself very well. I'm assuming English is not your native tongue and perhaps details are being lost in translation.

                    /home/pi/.emulationstation/gamelists

No worries thanks for any help. On my computer the Roms folder. Genesis the file is empty and it wont let me transfer a rom/game(says its already there) even though the file is empty.
On the Tv in Emulation station, the sytem shows up listing 526 games. I can click on a game and it wont load.

I find macs gave issues with Linux symbolic links on smb shares. They show up as blank folders. On the pie the genesis and mega drive folders are the exact same folder. Only a tag in Linux that makes the genesis and mega drive folders one in the same from the os point of view. Like alieses on mac or shortcuts on windows, but deeper rooted. It doesn't just point like the other two.
So do Everything in the mega drive folder.
