Hi guys i wanted to ask if clone PS3 controllers like this one works just like the normal one with the wireless function because my original PS3 controller is starting to wear out especially on the analogs and a friend of mine as well is looking at these controllers because he got his RPi 3 and he plans on playing all his PS1 games on it but he has a Xbox 360 controller only but wants you know the playstation feeling when playing those games so if anyone owns one of these kinds of controllers can you confirm for me that it might or should be working like the original because i know some clones don't work as intended.

I have one of those and I can't get it to sync via bluetooth at all. It works over usb, but the rumble moters never stop rumbling. Stay clear I say

I thought about getting these as well some time ago, but then I read some discussions about these and decided to keep away as well. Original PS3 controllers are the way to go, and you can get spare parts for them as well.

My soul rests, when I hear the PS1 boot music

@ecks rock candy makes some cool wired controllers for both xbox 360 and ps3. I would get the ps3 one since the buttons are all labeled correctly for psx games.

The label on the buttons doesn't really matter anyways since i never look at my controller when i play a game because i know the layout too well and all.

@ecks ok. Do look at both as they are shaped differently.

@edmaul69 I have seen those Rock Candy controllers before and the one thing i don't like is the D-Pad.

@ecks so i assume you want a controller with a official playstation style d-pad?

@edmaul69 The only D-Pads i always enjoyed using is the playstation and SNES other one's i have tried feels odd to me and some has it like thin looking which for someone like myself that has large hands have a hard time with fighting games.
