      I find it quite annoying that the PS3 controller keeps rumbling for a while while pairing via bluetooth and also when it disconnects after a timeout. Is there a way to disable that? Thank you!

        You can edit /var/lib/sixad/profiles/default and add an "enable_rumble 0" line.
        Caution, If I remember, this file is overwritten every update.

        Alternative and experimental option : don't use sixad but the native BT driver, see here :

            I don't have the sixad folder here... using the latest version of retropie. Where's this folder now?
