• @UDb23 made a cool overlay for Phoenix (and posted about it here). You can install the overlay using the rpie-art tool.

And here is my first score: 219,145 (of course I took advantage of that bug).

@lilbud I know the game is what it is, partly because of historical context, but the whole look-and-feel of the sprites, animation decisions and gameplay is, well, a bit rough around the edges, right? I don't think I am hurting anyone's feelings by saying so, but that is a contributing factor, is it not? When I play it I feel like I am fighting the design limitations more than the game enemies. Does anyone else feel that way?

I got 2620. Thanks for selecting this game otherwise I likely wouldn't have played it myself.

I don't fully get all the negative comments about it - I mean, sure, it's not the greatest game ever, but if I had to play it back in the day I can see it being quite popular! I mean, 1980? Impressive.

Keep up the good work here - I'd perhaps like to see scores without the glitch, for a fair comparison:)

@fruitybit No bug! Good score. The bug is killing three birds as they fly away giving you 204,000 points.

@cyperghost one tip for the big birds: wait them become birds (from ball to birds). They will give you more points. ;-)
