      yo. i'm using the latest retropie as of 10 oct 2017 and it seems that in many games (probably all of them to be honest but i can't tell) the emulator screen overflows to the bottom of my tv, so that split-screen games cut a significant part of the bottom of the screen. this doesn't happen in many any of the other emulators, and no other application (ES, kodi, etc.).

      edit: i tried fiddling with video mode settings etc. with no luck so i reverted to the default options

      any clues?

          @dankcushions as per the original post, it doesn't happen anywhere else but that emulator ... overscan is fine

              @marco666 Go into the RetroArch menu and mess with the video settings. Probably the viewport settings would be the place to start.

                  @jonnykesh so i've been fiddling with them a bit to figure out what the issue could be.

                  using

                  aspect_ratio_index = "22"
                  custom_viewport_height = "960"
                  custom_viewport_width = "1280"

                  just to get the window not to fill the whole screen the problem stays.
