Pi Model or other hardware: (pi 3)
      Power Supply used: (usb)
      RetroPie Version Used (IDK)
      Built From: (Pre made )
      USB Devices connected: Controller
      Controller used: Red Samurai

I just bought a RetroPie gaming system built on the Raspberry Pi 3 from eBay with HDMI cord and Red Samurai Bluetooth controller. I have a list of questions. I plugged it in and it has SNES and N64 loaded. When I go into a game the audio is laggy. How do I fix that? How do I config the controller? Once I'm in a game how do I go back to RetroPie menu? I went to set up WiFi and I don't know how to type in Letters and Numbers. How do I load PS1 with Crash Bandicoot? How do I load Kodi? FYI I do not own a USB mouse or keyboard. Sorry for asking so many questions. I asked the eBay seller these same questions and he just told me to ask them here. I hope someone can help. I bought this as a way to bring the family together. If I don't get this to work I'm going to hear it from the wife. I'm sure someone can relate.

@dreadknot719 pre-built images aren't really supported here mate, we've no way of knowing how these have been configured by the seller. They shouldn't be directing you here for their product support, that's just scandalous!

Plus they shouldn't be selling them, RetroPie is free and always will be for non-commercial use. Probably with games included as well, which is a double whammy of awfulness on their part.

@dreadknot719 Best thing to do is re-write your card using the official image then go through the comprehensive docs. All of your questions are answered there.

Sorry, my post really isn't supported here. I'm not the most tech-savvy. That's why I wanted to buy something premade. I messaged the seller beforehand if this was a plug and play type of thing. His response made me feel comfortable. Can someone drop links to where I can get started? I have Raspberry Pi 3 with a32GB Samsung SD card enclosed in the official Pi Foundation case, This is all I know. Help a NOOB.

His response made me feel comfortable.

Of course it did, because he's a scam artist charging you lord-knows-what for something illegal (https://retropie.org.uk/about/legal/) that you could get for $35. But I digress... And it seems like you already know you messed up (or at least, you should...)

When you are in a game, the usual hotkey to get back to the emulation station main menu (where you select your systems) is to press start and select at the same time. Once you are in the menu, you can press select and pick the option "configure input" to configure your controllers. Just hold a button on the controller so the system recognizes it, then follow the prompts on screen. Also in the main menu there should be an icon that says retropie. Click that and you can configure the wifi. You will need a USB keyboard to enter your WiFi password.

Also make sure you are shutting the system down properly... In the main menu press start then go to quit then shutdown system. Only after it goes through its shutdown sequence should you unplug it.

My recommendation is to get a new SD card and start from scratch and configure it how you want. Keep the SD that sca- er, friendly eBay seller, made for you so at least you don't lose what you have. But like everyone has already said, it's impossible to know how he set it up so everything I told you might very well not work because it could be set up differently.

                Just follow everything here: https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/First-Installation

To learn how to do anything else like setting up Kodi or installing new games, just Google it. There's resources everywhere.

Some of the option menus can be intimidating because they look like old MS-DOS commands but don't worry, it's really easy. Plus if you get a new SD you don't have to worry about messing anything up.
