Alright, I'm going to try to rewrite the image.

Rewrote the image, then smash bros worked. I left it off for an entire night and 10 min ago I tried to play it again and I couldn't. Does anyone have any solutions for this?

I have a Pi 3, 8 gb micro sd, 2 games: Mario 64 and Smash 64 and neither of them work.

@djjujuvi When you say "and I couldn't" what exactly do you mean? What happens when you launch the game? What emulator are you using? I see you are trying trying to provide details, but you need to follow the guidance on THIS POST and give us all of the details.

Alright. I have a Pi 3, 2.5 A. Version 4.1. I used BerryBoot, Xbox One controller, and I don't know where my dev log is

@djjujuvi But I assume you will provide more details about what is happening, right? "Won't work." "Doesn't work." "I couldn't." Do you see how these statements provide absolutely no detail?

The intro to the games work perfectly fine, although when I try to press start to enter the game (which is the way to enter the game) it wont go in the game, when I rewrite the image it works fine again

@djjujuvi The game actually launches? Wow. Ok, so that means a LOT. This sounds like a controller issue. That is a big difference from the game not working at all. However, I still don't know what emulator you are using because you won't provide all of the required details.

Given that this is probably a controller issue, troubleshooting will differ depending on which emulator you are running. I grow tired of asking you to simply follow the rules of this forum, so hopefully, someone who plays N64 can offer more help. At least we know a little more now--the game launches, but to go further we will need more details from you.

Sorry, this is my first time doing this so I'm not exactly sure what all of this is. An emulator is like a game console right? Or on the boot up it has the retro pie logo and then says loading emulator station., maybe that? but the console that I'm using for it is N64.

@djjujuvi Please click "Docs" above and do a little reading. Trust me--this will help you as much as it helps us. The Pi is a teaching/learning/educational device and we all use slightly different configurations, not to mention, we all have a different idea about what systems we want to run. The more you read the documentation, the easier it will be to provide information, find answers, and ask meaningful questions.
