All the rest of my SNES games work fine including Star Fox 1 (Rev 2). Star Fox 2 kicks back out to the menu. It doesn't even seem to start. I verified the MD5 and SHA1:

    CRC32: 87653732
    MD5: 7D66769F53CB3FB7F5C73044876DB240
    SHA-1: 1135A2A6CB786AC7523E81DD553DC81AAA266F51

I'm not overriding the default emulator settings in any way.

I think I know what might have happened. I must have done an update of all the packages from SOURCE instead of BINARY. I reran the update using the binary packages and now Star Fox 2 works.

@pussyfoot just a few ideas dont know if they'll work. try unzipping the rom, also try a diff snes emulator from the runcommand menu, then if both fail see if there is a diff rom source for that game.

Unzipping it worked! It doesn't make any sense, but that's what did the trick.

@pussyfoot yeah idk what the deal is with that, zipped files can be temperamental, glad you got it sorted though.

Just for confirmation, I tried Starfox 2 Zipped on 'lr-snes9x2010' and it ran fine (tiny bit of sound stutter here and there). Maybe you had some dodgy compression on your Zip file.
