I was basically wondering if in the main menu I could have each systems play their own music when I switch back and forth between them. If anyone can point me to the right direction to achieve this it would be appreciated. If this does not exist, it might be a cool feature.

      Thanks guys!

        Bump

I'm also curious if this can be implemented or not.

I'm aware of the various scripts and such for playing background music after the pi boots until a game launches, but this setup isn't ideal for those of us who run video snaps.

The snap music and the background music would be playing at the same time.

So, while in system select view, while having a system highlighted, can a specific piece of music be made to play for that system, and then when highlighting another system another piece of music play?

And then finally, when selecting a system which moves 'a folder' down to show the list of individual roms, have the music stop and vice versa, when retreating back to the system select view have the music resume?

@megafacehead You might try Attract mode for this, it seems to be supported.
