Rook's Collection O' Splash Screens

Felt like doing a Game Boy Color splash screen. The one, and only, Zelda I've ever beat fairly. Legend of Zelda DX for GBC.

Now with added clouds and widescreen. What?! Yes, I know. :D

@lilbud oh! maybe imgur does some adjustments to the dimensions when accessing from a mobile device.

And a little more Game Boy Color love... Always wanted to do Shantae. And now I have. Scary part? Drawing her hair and arm were the easiest parts by far.

Ok, this took maximum effort. Not only did I have to copy the font style, I had to copy the shading for the embossed edges of the font. Exhausting, but fun! Very pleased. :D

You're awesome, question though, does the splash screen randomizer slow down? because I wan't to do this with all your splash screens

@SonPluck Nah, I have all my splashscreens (and movies) in the folder and they play no problem. It's just a script that chooses a random image (or movie) to play at startup. There's really nothing to slow it down. Unless you had tens of thousands of images to choose from. MAYBE it would slow down. But even then, probably not. HAHAHA.

This one may be a little more challenging than the others, but if you are up to it, I would like to request a splashscreen based off of the Breath of Fire II title screen.

Oh crap I forgot I had requests. Breath of Fire looks like an ass hole. Haha. Lemme see what I can do on these. Gun Nac looks like it will be easy... but lopsided.

Didn't see any screenshots good for DD3 so I'll have to launch it and screenshot it.

@rookervik How did you mask the gradient onto the text?

@lilbud You can invert your selections in Photoshop. So you'd select the text in the text layer, invert that selection, then switch to the gradient layer and press delete. Can also mask it, but I'm not an expert at masking.
