it's more likely the tv is adding the additional lag (which in the wrong mode can be a few frames of delay) so saving 1 frame on lr-fceumm will only help a bit.

Does your screen have a "Game Mode" ?

@walkonatyclb it's probably in the settings (3rd) panel, if anything.

You may be out of luck. The Polaroid brand is licenced to various companies who make cheap sets under the name. Haven't found any details yet but it's worth checking through the manual.

I'll look but do you think it's the TV?

Yes. But to confirm plug your RPI into a computer monitor or something.

Having said that, I can see at least one other Polaroid set that has very low lag - but it could be from a completely different manufacturer. So it needs to be ruled out first at least.

I can confirm the exact thing on TV is happening on the computer monitor it's a lg monitor hooked to HDMI.

ok, so that's good news (unless the monitor also has lag) - so you need to test perhaps if keyboard input is ok or another usb controller.

If you see the lag with keyboard also, it might be that the emulator lag is still too much for you, and I don't know what to advise really (There are a few config changes you can try such trying the dispmanx driver). Also you can try the lr-nestopia emulator and see if that is any better.
