@spruce_m00se its fake. The uk nintendo site has the 19 instruction manuals on it because they were the games on the wii. And that is where someone tried to say that those were the games on an n64 classic. However, since they have emulated those games on the wii, it is possible in the end they might be the same games if they ever do make an n64 classic

According to TechRadar: " There’s evidence for and against it being Nintendo’s next project. For starters, a trademark document was recently uncovered with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). Filing number 016991325 points to an image of a Nintendo 64 controller, showing the company legally suring up the defences of its trident-shaped pad for some future purpose.

However, there’s a few hurdles that Nintendo would have to jump in order to get the N64 Mini out onto shelves in a way that’d make financial sense for the company, which could throw the whole enterprise into jeopardy."

@udb23 they also filed for a gameboy prior to this so we could only hope for both of them. No need to go any further than gameboy color and n64/gamecube in my opinion. Anything newer can be emulated on their own device already so i dont see the need for a “classic” for a while.

Edit: yes you could say the same for the older systems, but gameboy and gameboy color really need better battery life and backlight. And nes-n64 needed a more modern video output.

Even I knew that before they said it was a mistake. I was dumbfounded because these people didn't do their research before opening their big mouths. Excuse my ranting...

              Don't sweat it.
When in doubt, take a BYTE out of life.

Believable list but rumor is flawed because those games with manuals are also the wii virtual console n64 games

A closed source binary emulator will most likely offer nothing to coders.

For Raspberry Pi users, the only benefit would be an injection moulded case copy like what happened with the NESPi.

Come think of it, a PAL SNES/Super Famicom clone case is a bit overdue...

Yes but this is the ugly-ish US version. The European/Japanese design looked much better (or at least we Europeans feel more familiar with it... beauty is relative! :p)

I think you described it correctly, I always hear how ugly the US version is, but I grew up with it, and think it looks great! now, that might just be nostalgia.
