The knob on the top is for volume control and the two buttons below that there is one for power in/off and one for computer/lcd on/off. The one for the computer/lcd is connected to a petrock powerblock that can safely shut down the pi. And from the powerblock's 5v out I'm controlling a relay that controls the 5v to the LCD so I get simultaneously on/off for the LCD and the pi goes on or off.

What does the Battery 100% and Battery 20% do, and why are their 2 of them?

@lilbud looks like there are 1 separate power circuits, i think one is for the Pi and the other for the screen?

Yes that is correct, one circuit for each. There are LED's on the sides that will indicate when battery is 100%, 20% or if battery is charging.

I'm using a powerblock from petrockblogg to safely shut down the pi. That does use the io pins to achieve that.

I almost couldn't believe it. Looks like a photo-shopped retro gaming dream. But when I saw the photograph of the "guts" of this James Bond suitcase I actually did start to believe it. Some handy people can make pieces of art w/ a Pi. Wish I had such talent. :-)
