I'm using a Raspberry Pi 3 model B to run Retropie. The operating system that I use is Raspbian Stretch (the last version). I've read that Retropie only works currently for Raspbian Jeesie (the previous version of Raspbian), is it true or can I use Retropie with Raspbian Stretch instead (using a oficial way to do so)? If it's true, are they working to run Retropie with Stretch? THANKS

@krokko raspbian stretch is not supported yet. You'll have to use the image on this site based on jessie

@krokko there is no ETA. All the devs do this in their free time whenever they feel so inclined

@herb_fargus firstly let me thank you for all your support in this forum. Then I'd like to know if it makes sense to have jeesie and stretch in noobs or if it is possible.

@krokko unless there is a specific reason you need stretch you should be fine with using Jessie. If you for some reason want both OS's, Simple solution would be to have two separate sd cards as they are cheap enough. What is it that you're trying to do/want to do?
