New install - Can't scrape ROMs through menu (TheGamesDB) or Sselphs Scraper
-
I just installed RetroPie on my Rasberry Pi 3 and everything works fine except scraping the ROMs. Using the TheGamesDB scraper in the menu, I get "No Games Found". I've tried loading the games as .zip or .nes files, but it won't scrape either. I found this post (https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/scraper), but when I scrape with that it doesn't work either. The games are found fine by RetroPie and I can play them. They are in the default ROM folder for NES (only system I have ROMs for now). Any suggestions on what to look for?

Hi there. Care to share how you fixed it?

@brasskey I’d like to know too

@Dwarfboysim I only had problems when trying to scrape PSX media. After scouring the internet i found this scraper to be the best.

It will get you Cover art, disk art and video previews.
Just make sure to read the tut carefully. It can be installed via the rasp-setup but it can only be ran once emulation station has been aborted/quit.
You can either SSH/Use keyboard on pie to run it.
