PS 1 bios where?
-
In the bios folder
-
@space-cadet in a extra Folder or just in bios...
And can i use EU Bios SCPH7003?
-
@sent1 Just drop the bios file in the bios folder and you are set.
I use SCPH1001.BIN and it works for all my games. I wonder if the bios you mention can have region protection..that would cause problems with US games. USA ps1 games usually are superior.
-
@bobharris only put it in the Folder bios and it should Work?
-
@sent1 Yes.
-
@bobharris i did it. But the Rom dont Work is a PBP datei.. Need i config the Emulator Too
-
@sent1 which bios? Name the in all caps and need to be named like this: SCPH1001.BIN if you are using premade pbp they are u.s. games usually so you need a us bios like the one I mentioned.
-
@sent1 either your bios file is named wrong or is not compatible. I set up psx on my pi for the first time last night and mine worked perfectly. You shouldn't need to configure anything within the emulator itself.
-
I put the SCPH1001.BIN in the Bios Folder but nothing Work. I converte the pbp Datei with the Converter.. the Rom is EU Rom should I try the EU Bios?
@quicksilver can you Post a Screenshot from your Bios Folder;)
-
@sent1 ok one issue with eu games, a lot of them have a some kind of piracy lock on them. You should add the euro one. Same as SCPH1001.BIN, but with the euro bios’ number.
-
So i put the SCPH7003.Bin in the Folder ??
-
@sent1 Best advice is to use the US BIOS and US games. EU games, as said will have DRM on them and cause issues. It's best to stick to known working BIOS files. Most use
SCPH1001.BIN
afaik. -
@edmaul69 I am confused by this. If you put multiple ps1 bios files in the bios folder, then how does lr-pcsx-rearmed know which one to use?
(I have a few EU ps1 games on my Pi as well, so it can't hurt to add some bios files to the bios folder as long as I know how to choose between them.) -
So try it again and nothing..
Should i make a Folder in the Bios folder and Name it lr-pcsx-rearmed? -
@sent1 Did you reboot Emulastionstation after adding the bios in the BIOS folder ?
-
Yes i do allways a Restart After put the Bios in. Nur nothing work
-
@sent1 how many bios's have you tried? The one I got worked perfect. You might try getting one from a different source.
-
@bobharris just rename the bios’ like this in all CAPS including the .BIN. The bios’ might be named completely different but with the numbers that they need to be renamed with:
SCPH1001.BIN
SCPH750.BINAnd so forth and so on....
-
@bobharris if you have the multiple bios it should pick the correct one.
-
I try 3 Bios. And i Rename that Bios but nothing Work
