PSX Bios for retropie 4.3 still needed?

Hey guys and girls,
I am delving into the psx emulation of retropie. In some older posts I saw people mentioning that we should drop our bios file in the corresponding folder, as the one included wasn't optimal enough. However, in retropie 4.3 is this still needed?
I am not home at the moment and cannot check, but I believe there is a psx bios file already included.
Is this still the same reversed-engineer bios that could give us bugs?Thanks in advanace!

There is no BIOS file included in RetroPie. The emulator still needs a BIOS.

Thanks for the response once again mitu! I thought there might have been a bios, since I tried a couple of games and they loaded without giving me a "missing bios" error.
