-
will try it some time around next week and let u know then cuz this is like my only day off to work on it and im heading out now thak you though and i hope it works
-
@glitchyboyhunter @mitu hey im back mind giving me some step by step instructions on what you would do with that im so lost on what your trying to get at rn
-
- exit Emulationstation
- remove the
/home/pi/.emulationstation/es_systems.cfg
file - reboot the system
If the PSP folder doesn't appear in the Emulationstation menu, then check the https://retropie.org.uk/docs/PSP/ page and make sure you have copied the ROM with the right file extension to the right folder.
-
@mitu /home/pi/.emulationstation/es_systems.cfg is the exact file name i get rid of ?? or do i get rid of the psp directory in the pi?
-
@mitu i removed it, now what just reinstall it ??
-
@mitu hey still trying to figure out why psp wont work on my pi we tried erasing the file an reinstalling it but it didnt work :(
-
@glitchyboyhunter Have you verified the docs page that I mentioned ? What ROMs/files have you copied in the folder ? Please post your
/home/pi/.emulationstation/es_log.txt
file. -
I have no clue how to upload my text files, however i rebooted it and it is not showing what so ever, how do i upload my text file s?
-
i also typed in for my text using the code u gave above however it told me my permission was denied :(
-
@glitchyboyhunter I didn't give you any 'codes', just pointed you to the file where Emulationstation might log any errors.
You just need to get the file from the Pi - you use a PC if you have one connected. You need to open the\\retropie\configs\all\emulationstation
folder in Windows Explorer and you'll file the file I pointed out earlier in that folder. Upload the contents to pastebin.com and get the link here in the forum so we can better log at the log.EDIT: Make sure that Emulationstation is not configured with Parse Gamelists only set to On (https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/FAQ#why-does-shut-down-and-reboot-take-ages), otherwise any new game/rom added will not be shown. If you do, then turn it off, then restart Emulationstation.
