After messing up my Super Famicom build earlier today I reflashed the SD card with the image from the RetroPie website and updated to the most current release (4.3.10 - f2ffd60) and maybe it’s my mind playing tricks on me, but all of the emulators seem just a little too fast. Has anyone else noticed this? I’m running on a non-overclocked Pi 3 with more or less the vanilla RetroPie installation and the latest Jessie updates.

It’s immediately apparent in the Neo Geo boot sequence for Metal Slug (lr-fbalpha), but even games like Castlevania (lr-fceumm) seem just a little too fast.

I also tested on another Pi 3 running 4.3.10 and it seems the same there too.

Maybe go into Retroarch and enable the FPS counter, this way you can see what frames you are getting.

@greenhawk84 I fired up the Super Famicom and they say right around 60 fps. Things also don't seem as fast as I was remembering them last night. Unless anyone else says they've seen it, I'm going to chalk it up to me over analyzing things looking for bugs after I rebuilt that system or being really tired. ¯\(ツ)/¯
