Kodi 17.4 Keeps freezing

I had installed a new kodi lite build and noticed it kept freezing. I uninstalled kodi and erased everything in its folder and re installed a fesh kodi with no build or addons and im still getting the same issue. I never ran into this problem before. Please let me know if u have any fixes or ideas
