      A re-installation of RetroPie solved this.

        And once again, it's not working. Now my memorycard is full again, even though I haven't added anything.

          @elgur85 Maybe the card's capacity is less than it's advertised. You can test it with one of the utilities demoed here.

            @mitu It worked flawlessy over more then one year, until I upgraded to a newer version of RetroPie.
            Yesterday it worked well. But today, it tells me that the memory card is full...

              @elgur85

              What size is your card and how much space did you have available when everything was working? It could be that the card was right at the edge of capacity and an update pushed it over.

              Edit: I see above that you reinstalled RetroPie. Did you start over from scratch or just run an update from the RetroPie-Setup?

                @mediamogul It's 32 GB. When everything was working 29 GB was availible.
                I formatted the SD-card and used Image Writer to install the image-file again.

                  When is it that it stopes working exactly? After you fill up the card with roms and extras, or after you do an update?

                    Once again, I have the same issue. Sigh. I can't find any solution for this. :(

                      @elgur85 what changes did you make right before it happened again? Have you expanded your filesystem?

                        @TheDataCereal It worked the first day after the installation. I installed it from scratch. I shut it off, the next day the SD-card was full and I couldn't save anything. I didn't edit or fill up the SD card with anything. =/

                        @quicksilver My filesystem is expanded.

                          @elgur85 how are you transferring your roms?

                            I have found out why my SD-card is full. The /var/log folder is taking 21.7 GB of my SD-card...
