"MBC7 ROM not supported." - Game boy color

Doing a search here for MBC7 returns no results. Was wondering if anyone had encountered this issue or if there were any workarounds?
This is an error that I get when trying to run Kirby Tilt n Tumble for game boy color.

Edit2: It also looks like lr-tgbdual can run MBC7. But it defaults to running two separate frames of the game for player one and player 2. Will have to look into how to fix that.
