Need some help exiting retropie.
-
I'm new to raspberry pi (just set it up yesterday) and i downloaded retropie and installed some roms to play. i played a bit and decided i wanted to go back to the desktop. well after searching around on google a bit i followed some instructions to get back to the desktop but they didnt work. My current situation is that I've disabled the splash text from boot up on the pi and when i power it on i get the "pi@retropie" command line screen. In the retropie settings i tried to switch the auto startup settings to boot it automatically to desktop but it says that i need to install 'sudo apt-get start lightdm' but when i type that into the command line nothing happens. If you could answer my question and also tell me how to get back to retropie after getting to the desktop it would be greatly appreciated.

@guiguiberto Follow the docs on how to install it first, the RetroPie image does not have it included
- Install the Pixel desktop environment - https://retropie.org.uk/docs/FAQ/#where-did-the-desktop-go
