Please have more patience, people will respond if when they have the time.
Getting to your initial problem - can't you just disable dispmanx with the same Configuration menu where you enabled it ?

@mitu You are so patient. I can't believe you even replied to this.
You really are the (patient) hero we all need.

@beggi321 Hello, you need to type actual full sentences and not just random parts of what is happening.
Really, help people to help you. Alternatively help yourself.

@beggi321 I'm sorry. I would like to help you. I can't because you are providing absolutely no info.
                          Maybe someone else will help.
You are actually coming across as a troll at the minute.
Anyway, I think I have wasted enough time.
                          Good Luck!

@beggi321 I think I know what you are running into. There is a configuration setting to enable dispmanx that does not really seem to do anything unless you use the advanced configuration editor to select the retroarch/libretro settings for a specific emulator. I am away from my Pi right now or I would get the exact navigation steps. You are not sharing which emulator you are using, so I cannot be specific, but let's say you are trying to enable/disable dispmanx for NES using the emulator called lr-fceumm, you drill down into Advance Configuration, you find a setting that says video_driver (unset) like the screenshots under Advanced Configuration settings here. Pick this option and you can select the dispmanx driver. Back out of the config and the driver is set. If it says "unset" you do not have that driver enabled.

You might also find a similar config for ALL libretro emulators. I would check that one for the same thing and make sure it is UNSET.

My 4-player cocktail style cabinet built as a custom "roadcase"

@beggi321 I think @caver01 is right and you didn't actually enable dispmanx. You visited the menu from the Configuration section, but that menu shows something only if you have an emulator that supports dispmanx. If you don't have one installed, then the menu just flashes by and doesn't perform any configuration.

If you didn't do the steps that @caver01 described earlier - and set dispmanx as the video driver for RetroArch - then you didn't actually enabled anything, so there's nothing to disable.

Is there a reason you believe that dispmanx is enabled in your system ?
