      I converted the roms from .7z but now I have numerous versions of each game. How do I determine which version I should keep?

        Do the names include indentfiers such as (U), (!), (A1)?

            Yeah. I'm seeing (E), (U), (U) [B1+C], (U) [F1+C] to name a few.

              Those identifyers signify that you're using a 'Goodset' rom collection. As such. you should be using the files identified with (!) as it signifies a... ahem "good dump". More information on those identifiers can be found here.
