Help, i am wondering if it is possible to have retropi running off of the sd card with a few roms running off of the sd as well, but then be able to insert a usb stick with an expanded library of roms already setup, say like a system upgrade, or segregating games from the kids that you would like to be able to play but not let the kids have access to. its for a project, not sure if i am asking a redundant or stupid question, forgive my noobness please.

        • Running with ROMs from an external drive - https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Running-ROMs-from-a-USB-drive/. If you remove the drive, then the system will read the ROms from the SD card.
        • Kids mode - you can toggle Kids mode in Emulationstation, the frontend for the listing the games, and only games with the 'Kid Mode' flag will be shown, see https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Child-friendly-EmulationStation/#ui-modes
