      Hi everybody 😊

I am running retropie on a laptop via linux lubuntu. My laptop hard disk has two partitions, one running lubuntu and the other running windows10.

After installed retropie i put my snes roms on the snes rom folder and in fact I get the system appear.

Then when I start a rom a black screen appear with the audio of the game still going on, in fact if I press the joypad buttons I can hear the sound doing stuff in the game. If I try launch retroarch with select+x retropie freeze completely.

So basically I can play the roms in a black screen.

This happen with snes and gameboy, but playstation games run well. I did not try other emulators. Tryed to modify many option from the script without result.

Can you guys help me fix this stranhe thing? I chekked on the internet but cant find anything.

      Thanks guys

@tackskull Change the RetroArch default video driver to sdl2and try again. This has been reported numerous times on the forums, there's something about either the 18.04 release or the new RetroArch version that don't get along very well.
