      Hi all. Recently bought a retropie everything ace except when I go into retroarch menu. I keep getting the message "ShanWan PC/PS3/Android (8380/21760) not configured" in the bottom corner of the screen. Then the screen freezes and I can't navigate the menu. Would really appreciate some help

        @buddilove The RetroPie team does not support 3rd party images, especially when they're sold with the hardware. RetroPie license - as well as several other emulators included - forbids the selling of the software itself.

            @buddilove Why not ? I was trying to be helpful by pointing you at https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first. If you look in the forums, you'll see that almost all posts in the Help section include this information, without it is quite difficult to find a solution.
            If you're being rude from the first post, you'll not find anyone willing to help you here.

              @mitu I've tried everywhere on this to find help. Plus Google etc. It's probably something simple but it's starting to annoy me

                I'm also facing the same issue.

                got a controller that ES detects as Shanwan, and it works fine ONLY in ES GUI.

                When I go into any game, it just logs on the bottom corner "ShanWan PC/PS3/Android (8380/21760) not configured" and it won't do anything.

                Did you manage to find the solution @buddilove ?

                  Nevermind, minutes ago found the solution. Looks like the Configure Input option in ES wasn't saving the appropriate cfg filename in /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch-joypads

                  The file ShanWan PCPS3Android.cfg SHOULD BE: ShanWan PC_PS3_Android.cfg

                  And copy the corrected file to the /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch/autoconfig/ folder.

                  And it should work!
