      First I wanna give a big thank you to @herb_fargus for the tutorial on how to clear the romset using clrmamepro. Nice work!

      Now I would like to know how to make my own dat file. My intention is to create a dat file to remove all the not-OK ROMs based on the compatibility list spreadsheets.

        you need to use romlister. if you search for that you should find what you need.

          ps, the chances are that we have already created a dat for this - see the lower half of https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/Managing-ROMs

            I did it before asking here. There are dats with "working only" for lr-mame2003, PiFBA and GnGeo, but not for mame4all, unfortunately.
