I want to know if there is a program or feature in RetroPie (or other gaming OS for Pi) to check (through GPIO) whether the Pi showing menu or currently running a game. Or is there a way to signal through GPIO when a game starts and exits?

@bharathram21391 You can use the 'onstart'/'onend' scripts for the Runcommand to execute commands when a game starts/ends.
