I just want to praise the dedicated work you do @obsidianspider

Even though the last MAME ROW didn't get as many visits, and this one could end the same way, I must say that every monday I look forward to checking the MAME ROW - hopefully we'll get an epic battle in here again as we did with Chopper I, R-Type, Time Pilot, Joust and Bubble Bobble, just to mention a few from my memory.

It's been harder to have time to play these recently, with school breaks meaning that when outside of work it's mostly taking care of the kids, and little time for anything else.

Still, thank you for keeping at it. I do visit the topic almost every week, even if for nostalgia's sake and thinking "ah, wouldn't it be nice to be able to play these" :D

I'll vote for PuLiRuLa this week, as it's the only game I actually have. It works well on AdvMame.

@obsidianspider haha! Only today did I get to play it and find out what you meant. :)

I got to the end of that level and died at the boss. 24750 I believe was my score.

I'll upload the screenshot tomorrow at my PC. Unsure if I'll manage to play more, but that's my contribution for now. Certainly a... Peculiar game.

That clown enemy which stirs itself with the straw he's holding has to be one of my favourites of all time.
Also, the idea that you have to catch your own points...marvelous.

We've had some weird games in the MAMEROW, but I think this is the strangest one yet!

Entertainingly peculiar!

35720 is the best I can do, the level 3 boss always destroys me!

But this is a hidden gem game imho!

I had a little time to try this out today and it's definitely a trip. I always thought it would be difficult to find a stranger retro title than 'Ninja Baseball Batman', but 'Pu·Li·Ru·La ' makes it look like a baseball simulator by comparison.
