Hello, I was trying to install the latest retropie and made some difficult mistakes that I can't access my retropie the basic way right now. How can I possibly backup kodi manually, which files/folders to grab and place them back originally into each directory?

Right now I'm running linux into the folders, but not sure what files to collect. I still want my kodi addons and the rest of kodi. Or what type of folders to grab?

*Yes I do know Kodi does have 1 or 2 simple apps to backup, but right now I can't access kodi or Retropie. I was on Jessie for a long time. I want to move to Stretch now.

Then after you guys help me solve this matter. Right now I'm installing the latest version stretch and restoring my games and then resolve kodi and update kodi.

kodi for retropie, Rapberry pi model 3. Thank you everyone

Backing up /home/pi/.kodi/addons/ and /home/pi/.kodi/userdata/ should cover everything.

I'll give it a try and see what happens. But right now i'm having trouble with virtual box for using linux doesnt want to see my sd card to micro sd, I tried micro sd to usb. Virtualbox is very picky, it wants extra payment license for usb 2 n 3.0. very awkward situation.

Update, everything is mostly good. Dam its hard for me to setup ps3 controllers on retropie, it was easier on Jessie. I hope I don't mess up the controller pairing. Now I can backup one last time for safety, feels great. Last thing to do Mame delete some roms, and figure out roms sets editior, I know its documented here. I haven't done the games, but that should be really easy to do next.
