I have all of the WHDLoad games for the Amiga in zip format. Is there a way to batch convert them to LHA so that AmiBerry can run them on EmulationStation?

        Hi,

I don't know a way to convert the .zip arhive, but you can unzip it and then use IZArc to create a .lha archive.

Just Google IZArc to find the download.

Try using PowerArchiver. I haven’t used it but it appears to be able to do what you want. https://wiki.powerarchiver.com/en:help:main:tools:converting_archives

we support running games from zip also - via our launch script which unpacks them.

@BuZz As fas as I can tell, that's the problem. whdload zip files should be passed as-is to the emulators. So the lha conversion probably is to prevent the launch script from doing this.

This site converts them for free. You can do a few files at the same time but there's a charge to convert large groups of files.

                https://convertio.co/zip-lha/

                Currently running:
Retropie 4.8.9 on a Pi Zero 2W (Overclock Settings: CPU 1400Mhz)
                ES-DE on a GMKtec K6 (Windows 11, 32GB RAM)

                  Try PowerArchiver

                  https://filehippo.com/download_powerarchiver/

Its shareware, but free trial. Might be enough to do what you want

I used it years ago and it did exactly what I needed to convert archives. Just installed this version and it will easily convert ZIP to LHA and also as a batch queue
