DraStic Nintendo DS BIOS naming
-
When trying to setup DraStic for Nintendo DS, we are asked to place 2 items in the BIOS folder. nds_bios_arm7.bin is one item. I have seen the .bin changed to .rom on one youtube video. Which is the correct format
Also, do we need nds_firmware.bin
I am running the latest version of Retropie on a Rasp3AS always I have read all of the documents on this site, https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/Nintendo-DS and on youtube before asking this question.

drastic_bios_arm7.bin
anddrastic_bios_arm9.bin
that are named as such go in/opt/retropie/configs/nds/drastic/system/

Also, you don't need the nds_firmware.bin.

About a year ago someone posted this as a solution.
My drastic is not showing up in experimental packages. How do I get drastic to show up? and How do I use these bin files? Where do I go to use them and how? I need more clarification. I am new at this. -

That's no problem. We should start by gathering your system information. The information needed is detailed at https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.

DraStic does NOT need a BIOS. A custom BIOS is already included that improves the compatibility using individual game hacks. If you replace it with an official BIOS then less games will work.
