Is it possible to store the Data/Roms on a different partition on the same SD card?
What I'm planning to do is to install multiple Operating Systems using PINN.
And since PINN can create a simple data partition, I want to use it as global storage so that Retropie and Recalbox can access the same rom folders.

I probably could symlink that but I'm not so experienced with Linux. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sure, it's possible, as long as you're creating the partition correctly (which I guess PINN would do). it would work just like an external USB drive, but instead of 'mounting' the USB stick, you're just mounting an existing partition. Since both systems are Linux, you can format it as ext4 instead of fat32.
