      Hi,

The question is in the title, but here's a (hopefully better) explanation:

I created a collection with "All Games"
After I select this collection from the main menu, all my games show up with a [Tag] after the game
      This tag has the platform

      Example:

      • Aero Fighters 2 [FBA]
      • Mortal Kombat [MAME-Libretro]

      My question is the following:

Can I remove this Tag somehow? It looks ugly and I don't care to know about the platform on this collection.

      Thanks

        @nightshadowpt No, it's built-in.

Currently, the system labels cannot be removed. Their purpose is to help delineate games from multiple systems that share the same name. Being that the primary use case of RetroPie is as a multi-system environment, an option to remove the labels would go unused more often than not, creating UI clutter. Still, if it ever were to be an outstanding feature request among users, there's always the possibility that it could be added at some point.

Hi, thanks for the quick answer.

I understand your UI clutter concern, but it could be done by editing a config file as many other things in the Pie.

Using the "all games" collection is the easiest way to club all my arcade games together without having to configure them individually (in the Arcade folder). It would be really convenient as now my options are either "ugly" or "a lot of work" :)

Is there a way to put it in as a request for the next versions?

            Thanks.

            Regards,

it could be done by editing a config file as many other things in the Pie.

The areas you're referencing are generally related to the emulators, ports and other elements that we often don't maintain. Backend settings for the RetroPie fork of Emulation Station have been discussed in the past and the general consensus so far has been that the developers find it to be a bad practice.

Is there a way to put it in as a request for the next versions?

You can start a thread over in the 'Ideas and Development' section of the forum. If it gains any traction there, it's possible that a developer may take a crack at adding it. However, the change would still have to be approved by the lead maintainers.
