Hello! I'm new here, I'm building a bartop arcade using using a raspberry pi 3 b, I've installed retropie 4.4 from the site with zero roms. I'm running into an issue with the volume. I change the volume and then I will exit the menu. When I go back to the volume settings it is back at zero.

I'm running hdmi to DVI cable to my monitor, while running the headphone jack (3.5mm) to the amplifier that goes to the speakers. I've also run a HDMI to VGA cable and I get the same results. Is there a setting that I'm missing?

I searched the forum before I posted this but if this has already been addressed I would be more than happy to see that and get this issue resolved.
      Thanks in advance!
      Bill

Well that was stupidly simple, I needed to switch it to PCM. Now the sound is working great!
