obviuosly i have modified your theme for my application, and thank you!
please watch video until the end, the theme is missing then appears, it also does this randomly between categories sometimes starting black then background appearing, is it the format of the image or...? i dunno, pls help, why does it do that and how do i fix it.

@ruckage I need to ask you an honest question, If myself and my son put a bounty source up for £77.86 for you to finish the Neo-Geo theme in 4:3, 5:4 and 16:9 would that encourage you to do so?

You made a similar promise in the past for a $50 donation to add 4:3 support in time for you sons graduation but you didn't deliver....

@ruckage as you didn't deliver and finish the theme, i had to start modifying it to fit my needs to complete it in time, thus withdrew my offer and just to let you know i included the previous promissory of $50 usd into the new offer of $100 usd and will be securing it within bountysource so there isn't any party discrepancies this time around, so i ask you... would you agree to this?
also could you look at the video and tell me what you think the problem is... thanks.

You asked for 4:3 support - I kept my promise and added 4:3 and also 5:4 support which was a huge amount of work and if you were to put an actual value on it far more work than even the $100 you say you are now offering. I only ever planned Neo Geo and Capcom for this theme with any other systems being a bonus if I decided to add them.
Without all my work on the 4:3 that was done at short notice and was never originally planned you certainly wouldn't have been able to complete your build ready for your sons graduation/birthday.
I'm sorry but I get the feeling that whatever I do you will continually move the goal posts (as you have previously when you suddenly asked for multiple categories to be added) and you obviously don't appreciate the amount of work involved. -

I am not sure what version I have but I guess it is the very first download that was available here.
@ruckage did you add anything new except for the 4:3/5:4 support?

Just wanna make sure i didn't miss anything.The 4:3 was the only major change. Since then I've got the grid view working for marquees (or screenshots if you prefer) as well but It needs some tweaking/testing before I can release it.

@ruckage i didn't move any goalposts, i asked for the aspect support and for the theme to be completed for the $50 donation, you did add the aspect ratios, but did not complete the theme, and as far as the work involved, i am very sure that it is a lot, and worth something significant, but you cannot try to tell me that its worth more than $50 or even $100 for ONE PERSON as that is extortion, this IS NOT a commission, as if it were one, i would have you make it to my specs and for me only, no public release and sure the price for something of that caliber is way higher, maybe $300-$500 usd, but as this is not the case the money offered was to incentivize you to finish the theme for the public good, including myself, so the monetary compensation was fair no matter what you say, as it was more like pre-tipping versus payment for services rendered. my offer still stands and will attempt to gather funds from others as well, it may very well go over the $100 usd marker.

The theme is complete - Neogeo and Capcom were the only systems I planned for this theme. No one else asked for 4:3 - only you. Others may benefit but you asked for it and I delivered.

That implies you compensated me in some way and you did not. I'd like to make it clear I don't make/release these themes for monetary gain and don't expect anything in return from the people who use them but if you explicitly say you're are going to send a payment for x feature and then don't follow through why would I keep making additions/changes for you in the hope of getting that carrot on a stick.

Notice the part where you say 'will donate as soon as i get paid this week' and the list of categories you wanted adding which was never asked for in the beginning and certainly never agreed to - that's moving the goal posts.

Have you tried to play around with the vram setting?
It looks like as it loads the background image a bit slower than the rest.
Is that the stock theme image or did you change that?
What kind of microSD card are you using? -

@ruckage I asked for categories to be added as a favor, not as something originally included in the amount of compensation declared previously, like I said after you had done the update there was so much more work I had to do because you didn’t finish it that I decided that it wasn’t worth the money that I pledged, simply because I had to put so much more hours of more work into it to get it to where I needed it, but because I’m a standup guy as soon as I have the extra money as we are on a limited income I will be more than happy to render the original donation to honor our agreement, it might take me a couple months but I’ll do it. As for categories asked to be added was a request after the fact and yes, it was not specified in the original arrangement but requested it as a favor to a fan of your work. Anyway, my point is not to rub you the wrong way nor cause a rift between us as I would like to commission you to make a couple of custom themes within the next 6 months to a year and payment will be sent to an escrow account secured for your peace of mind when this comes to pass.
Mind you I am kind of demanding so I’ll try and be as courteous as possible and spell out exactly what I’m looking for as not to cause arguments and issues dealing with requests and changes. But again within the next 6 months to a year.
I do appreciate your work and effort and I admit fault. I was irritated at the time this was not entirely your fault and I should not hold you accountable for it I should have discussed with you on the side about what was going on prior to my decision of not making the donation and I should’ve made good on my word which I will do.
I understand completely you do not do this for monetary gain but it does seem as though you were a bit curt with people like myself maybe it’s just the community that has made you a bit defensive or abrasive, personally I can understand that I think I’ve become a bit myself... but I thank you again for your patience and professionalism.
I apologize to you sir for my behavior, and any of the readers of these messages as my intention was not to ruffle feathers, it has been a bad year but that is no excuse for my behavior.

Hi everyone.
I have another Neo Geo theme that followers of this theme may be interested in. It's based on the Neo Geo mini menus and requires grid view so you will need the very latest version of ES to try it. It has a choice of several graphical styles.
