How can I add a Video Screensaver?

I have try to add a video screensaver but i still have the same thing (black screen)
I want to know the right way to add a video Screensaver
I have
Raspberry pi 3B+
Retropie 4.4.2
32 GB SD Card
5V 2.5A power supply.... -
The screensaver will pick one of the video snaps scraped for your ROMs. So the only way to add it is to associate a video with one of your ROMs. You can do so by editing the game/ROM (press
Select
) and entering the path to the video you copied on your system. -

@clyde It's the gamelist file from what I've seen in the source.

I have tried that but its still the same.
I just put a folder for (screensaver) on
home/pi... But I don't Know what I have to write exactly because a lot of people saying different things...

If you copied the video file in
/home/pi/screensaver_folder/file.ext
, then go to one of your ROMs in emulationstation, pressSelect
and choose toEdit Metadata
. Go to the Video entry and enter the path to the video, i.e./home/pi/screensaver_folder/file.ext
.
Replacescreensaver_folder
andfile.ext
with the actual file and folder names from your system. -
