WWF No Mercy mods -- I got 2/3 of it working. Anybody wanna help finish it off?

I had the bright idea to take apart an Android mod repack and use the hires textures and savestate files on my RetroPie, and it mostly works since the Android builds are made for Mupen64.

The modded wrestlers and textures all work really well, but a lot of these mods (hacked moves, menu options, match types, etc.) depend on the cheats being enabled, and I can't figure out how to do that. I wanna say I saw a directory for cheats once that I could access in WinSCP, but I can't find that anymore. Anybody know where that is or another way to use the Mupen64 cheat file in the non-lr emulator?

Nope – never figured out how to get cheats enabled. I did, however, find a group of hackers that made an updated/modded version of the game that plays on original N64 hardware.

Ok so I saw your post and decided to put my 2 cents in... I have ONLY been able to get wwe2k17 mod (android repack) to work. All the other texture packs I try eith halfway work (im assuming it needs cheats) and others don't work at all. Most of the textures packs I have tried do not show the wrestlers name correctly.
That being said, the wwe 2k17 mod works pretty flawlessly (as far as wrestlers being added and their names matching up)
Dude I would love to continue our work on a closer scale. Hit me up on discord or email and we can continue to get these mods working on retropie.
