      i bought a new raspberry pi a few days ago and loaded retropi on it . When retropi loaded it showed my controller was detected but i pushed a button and it just crashed plz help

      these are the controllers
      Roll over image to zoom in
      2 Pack iNNEXT SNES Retro USB Controller Gamepad Joystick, USB PC Super Classic Controller Joypad Gamestick for Windows PC MAC Linux Raspberry Pi 3 Sega Genesis Higan

      it is a raspberry pi 3 b

        @porgs-rule What's the error shown on the screen after the crash ? What RetroPie version are you using and how did you install it ?

          @mitu thanks for helping, i got retropi from the download tab on this sight and downloaded for the 2/3 option (i have the pi 3 b)

          also i used etcher to flash the image to micro sd card

          when i push a button a lot of code shows up that i do not understand

                @porgs-rule Try to upload it then to imgur.com, they might resize/convert it so it's not so big.

                      Looks like a bad SD card or a defective unit/bad power source. What power source and sd card are you using ?

                        power suply is 2.5A and pluged into wall not a power strip

                        sd card i think might be the problem i couldnt run retropi or raspian the first few times i tried
