I want to say thanks for the 8bitdo recommendation mate. I wasn't aware of it at all and it looks the business :)

Forgot to ask is the FC30 compatible with the ps4/xbox one as well?

Any PS3 capable fightstick should work, just like using a wired PS3 controller. I also have Mad Catz SE PS3 sticks like the SFIV stick above, and a Hori FS3 PS3. They work fine. You'll probably want to replace a Mad Catz joystick with a Sanwa, the stock ones are pretty poor quality.

Any XBox 360 fightstick should work with xboxdrv, just like you were using a wired 360 controller.

                  Unsure on PS4 or XBone.

Mmm getting input lag with this arcade stick. Noticed it straight away. Not sure what I can do resolve it. My wired buffalo usb pad is fine with the same games :(

Have you tried using it cabled for comparison?

Might be worth checking the firmware:

I'll have to find mine to try it out as well.

Yeah tried it wired as well. It's like it's missing inputs. So for example on the punisher I can keep tapping the button and it will only throw a couple of punches then pause. Wired buffalo pad it is the full registered combo.

Joystick works fine in menus and button presses are fine. I've not checked the firmware yet. Just plug it into my laptop and update?

I just checked my notes and it seems that Bluetooth with at least firmware 1.41 should work much more reliably.
I connect using the Mode 1 Joystick mode.

Ok mate I'll update the firmware tomorrow night and check again.

                                    Cheers.

If the firmware update doesn't help later is there anything else I can maybe try? A config tweak or something?

Also for mode 1 it's just hold home button down for 3 secs isn't it?

If the firmware doesnt help, you could see if you could shorten the length of the usb cable, or email 8bitdo.com support directly, they are often very helpful. Or at least post on their forums anyway. I found the firmware fix did it for me.

Yes, Mode 1 is just hold Home for 3 secs:
