I have just updated Retropie to 4.4 and now I get a red flashing screen whenever starting a game in Amiberry. I've searched for an answer and the only thing I have found was suggesting to update the UAE Config Maker, but I'm unsure how to do this.

Could you give more info on how you updated? Did you write a new image to a SD card? This is the recommended method for RetroPie 4.4 as it is based on Raspbian Stretch, previous versions being based on Raspbian Jessie?

Or did you update an existing build using the setup script? If so, did you update all installed packages as well? And the underlying OS?

I presume you found the fix involving the UAE Config Maker in this issue. That comment dates from March. Since then, the UAE Config Maker is no longer required.

If you can provide this info, then I may be able to advise further.

@miclamcm If you are using the WHDLoad autobooter, then, in most cases, there should be no need to use .uae files. Could you explain what you are trying to do?
