Rom problems

I have installed rom in arcade set setting to fbalpha game was working I then switched my pi off then loaded back come to select same rom and then it's not working checked setting still showing fbalpha I have tried other emulators but still no joy can anybody help it doesn't make sense the rom was working fine.
